Which Types Have the Most and Fewest Weaknesses?

  • Most weaknesses: Grass and Rock (5 each), followed by Ice (4).
  • Fewest weaknesses: Normal and Electric (1 each).
  • Most resistances: Steel resists 10 types, far more than any other type. Fire is second with 6.
  • No resistances at all: Normal is the only type that resists nothing.
  • Only resists itself: Ice resists only Ice.

A type with few weaknesses is not always the safest choice in battle. What matters most is how your Pokémon’s two types combine and which attacks your opponent actually has.
